
Executive Director and Founder Pastor Roy is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Circle of Love Ministry Worldwide. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Nyack College and is currently pursuing a masters degree from Alliance Theological Seminary.
Pastor Kirton is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Services, Inc., and Pioneer Portfolio Corp., a firm registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
BOARD MEMBERS
Dotty Coleman
Dotty Coleman is employed by the Suffolk County Department of Labor. Ms. Coleman holds a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in community organization and youth development. She has served as a faculty member at Suffolk Community College, as well as the Westbury School District.
On the volunteer front in Amityville, she is the founder and executive director of operation of MAKE-IT. Dotty is a board member of various civic organizations and is a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of North Amityville.
Francis J. Sands
CPA Frank Sands is the founder of Sands & Co. CPA's. Sands & Co. is a full service CPA firm serving the tri-state area. The main focus of the firm is the closely held business of providing both tax and business consulting. Mr. Sands has an extensive background and experience in all areas of taxation. He handles all types of IRS audits and compliance work.
Mr. Sands entered public accounting after graduating from Siena College with a Bachelor of Busness Administration Degree in 1979. He received his CPA lincense in 1985 and is a member of the American Insitute of Certified Public Accountants. He had worked for several international and regional CPA firms prior to starting Sands & Co.
Mr. Sands is also active in his local parish on both the financial committee and with youth ministry. He has coached boys and girls bastketball for the Catholic Youth Organization for his parish for over ten years and has been a member of various Catholic youth organization committees.
Lillian Frier-Webb
Lillian Frier-Webb is the founder of "Therapy it All." Lillian reveived a Master's Degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. Ms. Webb had pastored Mount Olive African Methodist Church in Port Washington for seventeen years and is currently a chaplain at the Nassau Correctional Facility. She has also served as a consultant and columnist for Essence Magazine.
Lillian has published several works, including Gentle Jesus Bulldozer, published in October of 1996. She was listed in Whos' Who in Religion from 1992 through 1995. Ms. Webb was also saluted by the Mid-Island Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club Inc. as a modern day Sojourner Truth.
Leonard F. Jarvis.
Reverend Leonard F. Jarvis serves in the ministry while also mainataining a successful business career. He is presently an associate minister and minister of education at Berean Missionary Baptist Church in Brooklyn.
Prior assignments include Chairman of the deacon board at Shiloh Baptist Church in Rockville Center, Deacon of the fountain of Life Church in Hempstead. He is a candidate for a Doctorate of Ministry at Hebrew Union College in New York City.
Since 1991, he has been with Baylis & Geist Insurance Brokerage in Baldwin. He is also a volunteer, member, and officer with many local community goups. He resides in Freeport with wife Gloria, son Jerrod, and daughter LaNaria.
Alicia Figueras
Alicia Figueras has spent 10 years with the Federal Government on drug intervention programs and has dedicated the last 13 years educating adults and young people about the realities of HIV/AIDS. Ms. Figueras also served two years as an executive assistant to Congressman Steve Israel. Alicia is currently completing a degree requirement at Empire College.
Ms. Figueras is the president and CEO of Smiling Faces, a company that provides workshops and training on self-esteem, decision making and at risk behavior as well as produces and hosts a weekly TV talk show interviewing individuals and agencies doing positive work with today’s youth and highlights minority and women owned businesses. She also hosts her own radio show called Long Island with Alicia on WLIE.
Alicia is currently employed with the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, Inc. as a WRAP Coordinator. The WRAP program provides weatherization and rehabilitation for low to moderate income home owners dwelling in North East Freeport.
STAFF
Elaine Hoskins
Development Coordinator Elaine is currently employed as the Assistant Director for the Weed and Seed coordinator at North Shore Child and Family Guidance in Hempstead. For most of her career, Elaine has been involved with not for profit organizations and early childhood education.
Ms. Hoskins is an advocate for women's issues and is the co-chairperson and founder of the Million Women Community Development Organization of Long Island. Ms. Hoskins is currently completing her degree requirements at Empire College.
Larry A. Marshall
Liaison Larry Marshall is a seasoned correction officer who rose through the promotion ladder from probationary officer to rehabilitation officer. Corporal Marshall has had more than a decade of working experience with incarcerated men and youths. In his various duties, he was coordinator of the School Program, which made GED instruction available to inmates.
Mr. Marshall worked with colleges and other civilian groups touring the facility, and coordinated inmate placement in out-of-state rehabilitative locations in lieu of incarceration. Larry became a member of the Circle of Love Ministry World Wide congregation after hearing talks delivered by Pastor Roy Kirton at the Nassau Correctional Facility. He brings very special knowledge to the job that is before us.
